People are now more often asking themselves what moves you in life or, as some experts call it, what is your “drive” in life. The exact meaning of drive is; "an innate, biologically determined urge to attain a goal or satisfy a need. Today, teenagers, are having the idea that having a drive or passion in life is stupid and unnecessary. But the real reason is that our passion is what makes us wanna live, and what makes you who you are.
Why passion matters in our lives?
Passion is what makes a person want or achieve something that they are passionate about. According to experts, “People that are passionate mostly are more organized at work and even in their lives” Passion is a very important indicator of someone else’s future success. It is proved by some studies that people who have a concrete porpoise or passion in what they work and do, they are more often to gain more money and to be more successful in life. Having a passion has many advantages. For example:
Makes it harder to give up your dreams
Makes you work harder in all you do
Makes you a person that knows how to confront difficulties
Increase your character as a person.
Finding our passion
Many people are struggling in life and most of the time is because they have lost or didn’t even know what their passion is. But the majority of us find hard the work of discovering what our passion is. But defiantly how we can find it, is by looking inside of us or as experts like to say “introspection”. You can think about some activities that you enjoy to do and that you are good at. There has to be something that you are good at, and I'm sure that all of us are good at not just one thing but at more. Each one of us has been gifted with many talents. It's our turn to find them and put them in practice.
Why we have to have passion in all we do?
If you do things that you love, they will be easier and you will enjoy doing them instead of being a nightmare in your life. Imagine if you don’t like to cook and you work at a restaurant. Every day that you come to work you will hate it. But what if you like to paint and you work at an art gallery, things will change, right?
A thing that you have to have in mind is that your passion will be present at all times during your day, week, and eventually, in your life. Therefore, if you have a passion, you will become more successful in everything you do and you will enjoy it at all times.
Job vs passion
A job has to be enjoyable and likable, so people shouldn’t feel work as a horrible thing to do. We have to enjoy going to work, and we have to start seeing it as something we loved to do. If we don’t do so, that will become a nightmare and a very tiring thing to do. Also, time will pass slowly during our work time. When people have a job that they enjoy, they became more successful in their lives because they are happy and comfortable with themselves.
